Lindsey Fillingham

Flute

Lindsey Fillingham grew up in South Africa and read music at the University of Cape Town before moving to Manchester to obtain an MMus at the Royal Northern College of Music (2011). She has played with top orchestras including the Hallé, Orchestra of the Swan and the Cape Philharmonic, and has performed as a soloist with the Johannesburg Philharmonic and the University of Cape Town Symphony Orchestra.

Dean Wood

Clarinet

Kent-born clarinettist Dean Wood has studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and the University of Nottingham. He's very excited to expand his education work with soundSPARK, and previous experience has been in workshop leading with Trinity Laban and the Pente Ensemble, section tutor for the South London Youth Orchestra with various other pursuits alongside his private teaching. 

Stephanie Legg

Saxophone

Stephanie is a saxophonist and clarinettist, hailing from Northumberland. Having completed her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2013, Stephanie has gone on to perform at the Royal Festival Hall, West Green House Opera and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. Stephanie has performed at Glastonbury Festival and most recently, at the Edinburgh Fringe festival with progressive brass rock band 'Perhaps Contraption'.

Gennie Joy

Bass Clarinet

Gennie is a London-based clarinettist & bass clarinettist, and performs regularly with orchestras and chamber groups across the UK. She founded soundSPARK in 2016, performing regularly with the group and delivering its education projects. Gennie also performs regularly with The Ashdown Duo in partnership with Music in Hospitals & Care, and is the bass clarinettist of the award-winning creative ensemble Engines Orchestra.
