ARTSMARK

Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools and education settings, awarded by Arts Council England, recognising their commitment to high quality arts and cultural education.

soundSPARK is proud to be supporting schools and education settings on their Artsmark journey, inspiring children and young people to create, experience, and participate in great arts and culture.

We offer education settings who are working towards, or currently hold an Artsmark Award, with the following opportunities:
____________________________________________________________________
soundSPARK has developed four themed interactive music sessions:

-
Carnival of the Animals - based around Camille Saint-Saens’ suite of music
-
Pop! - based around Pop Music from the last 60 years
-
Around the World in 80 Minutes – based around music from across the globe
-
Haul Away! – based around sea shanties and folk music

The sessions comprise of an interactive workshop and sharing performance. Your students and staff will experience exciting, engaging and inspiring high-quality live performance from experienced professional musicians, as well as having a chance for their creativity and achievements to be recognised and celebrated, leaving a positive impact on students, staff and the wider community.

Our sessions are suitable for Key Stages 1 and 2, and are tailor-made to directly line up with National Curriculum aims for music in primary schools, delivering high quality live performances alongside participation and music making opportunities for your students. If you are looking for a longer-term partnership with an arts organisation, we would be very happy to chat about this further.
